Meet the Creator!
I am Heather Lawrie of Heavy Metal Heather in West Brooklyn NS, home of the giant sunflower. I make metal art and sell from my tiny art barn that is open year round every day.
Each piece is unique, hand made, one of a kind. I work with new and recycled metals like steel, stainless steel and copper. I often use found items like tanks, cans, saws, fire extinguishers, harrow discs, garden tools etc. I make things from tiny bees to Giant Butterflies and everything in between.
I make a lot of bugs, flowers, animals, feathers, sailboats, cut luminaries, tree saws… and the list goes on. Some items are painted, some rusted, some flame coloured steel.
The doors are always open and I love visitors. Stop in anytime!
