Meet the creator!
Hi there! I’m Holly Smith, a proudly Canadian entrepreneur with a love for marketing, sales, and community connection.
Over the past five years, I’ve had the joy of traveling across Canada and calling three beautiful provinces home. With each move came new faces, fresh inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for the heart of every town: local businesses.
Whether it's browsing homemade jams at a roadside farm stand, treasure hunting at a yard sale, admiring gorgeous flowers at curbside markets, or chatting with a baker about their families secret recipes, I’m in my element when I’m supporting and celebrating the creativity of others.
This passion is what drives everything I do, creating opportunities to shine a spotlight on small businesses, help them grow, and connect them with the people who need them most.
Curbside Harvest is a passion project I started in late July after spending time exploring the beautiful Annapolis Valley. While driving through the region, I was amazed by the number of charming farm stands, family-run markets, and weekend yard sales tucked along the roadside, often just a quick turn off the main route to popular destinations.
But here’s the thing: after driving past them, I’d often forget exactly where they were. One day, after a disappointing Google search, I realized there wasn’t a place to find these local gems, and that’s when the idea for Curbside Harvest was born.
What is Curbside Harvest?
Curbside Harvest is a website that highlights local farm stands, small-scale markets, u-picks, and yard sales throughout the Valley.
The website has an interactive Map feature where you’ll find:
The Location
Hours of operation
What products are offered
What methods of payment are taken
Whether you’re a tourist hoping to discover authentic, local goods, or a resident trying to remember where you saw that fresh corn or homemade pie, Curbside Harvest makes it easy to find and support small businesses in your community.
This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited to share the journey with you.
Let’s celebrate local, one curbside gem at a time.
